CFWRI  partners with Society for Family Health (SFH) during some medical outreaches was cervical talk and smear was carried out and treated some few affected cases. Also the UCH Eye Outreach carried out eye test on widows and some community members at the expense of CFWRI. They also partner with FIDA – Federacion Internacional de Abogadas International Federation of Women Lawyers, MOWA&SI – Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion.

Ever since inception, CFWRI has fruitfully implemented and managed innovative and developmental projects in three states of the federation. They include Oyo, Ekiti and Kwara States. Most of the projects have gained recognition and are being replicated. Some of such innovative projects include Poultry Keeping training, inauguration of  empowerment training project in fashion designing, intervention of Food Relief Program, a Mini-Clinic where widows regular health care routine checkups are carried out and necessary referral are made to appropriate hospitals where necessary. The usual Micro Finance activities where Non-Interest Loan are made available to the participants to boost their trading are the immediate intervention areas of the organization.

CFWRI has registered about 321 widows since inception and these widows have benefited and are still benefiting from its projects and programmes and from other networking organizations. The initiative engages in skills acquisition, vocational training, financial support and business creation.

CFWRI has also been actively involved in awareness and sensitization campaign on health related issues such as giving talk on cervical cancer and the smear, essence of good nutrition to widows and orphans, HIV/AIDS counseling and testing among widows and their orphaned children.

CFWRI‘s in her effort to maintain integrity among her widows organized a program on Match-Making or Paring any of our potential widows who wishes to re-marry with another husband whether widower or non-widower who needs a wife. The idea is to disabuse the widows having illicit sexual relationship which may cause sexually transmitted diseases especially HIV/AIDS which may impose more misery on the lives of widows.
